BRANCHING BRIOCHE SHAWL

BRANCHING BRIOCHE SHAWL

Say hello to the newest addition to the Westknits brioche shawl family: the Branching Brioche Shawl! Get ready to be submerged into the cloudy world of fluffy suri alpaca softness with this gorgeous semi-circular shawl in two-color brioche. This pattern has a mesmerising repetitive rhythm with expanding brioche increases that create branch-like segments to your beautiful knitted fabric with a stunning picot bind-off. The Branching Brioche Shawl is one of my simplest brioche shawl patterns to create, perfect for embarking on your venture into brioche knitting or for a relaxing and soothing knit to bundle yourself up in as the colder weather hits.

I knit this cosy shawl with two skeins of Qing Fibre's Yak Singles and four skeins of Melted Baby Suri which creates a lovely fluid fabric with a delicately heathered sheen. The suri alpaca is one of my favorites to use for snuggly knits as it forms such a special soft fabric. I've put together some stunning kits at Stephen & Penelope for you to knit your own shawl of cloudy goodness. Grab your needles, choose the kit of your dreams, and get ready to cast on the Branching Brioche Shawl!
