The Wilderness Adventure Shawl is a lightweight summery shawl that features three contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn. Two of the colors are striped together for the 2-row garter stitch stripes and are also featured in the various slip stitch and lace patterns. The third color, shown in light green, is an accent color to highlight the geometric slip stitches and open eyelet sections. 

The pattern begins with an I-cord cast on followed by increases along each edge and a decrease in the middle of the fabric to form a chevron shape.
