  • This is a PDF knitting pattern.

Gather a colorful collection of worsted weight yarns to knit the various textures. You can knit each section as long as you want for a personalized collage of stripes. The striped sections include garter stitch, knit ‘n slide, brioche, and garter ridges staggered between stockinette/reverse stockinette sections. This textured cowl is knit flat and sewn together with a half twist.

3 in 1! This pattern comes with PDFs for the Building Blocks Scarf & Bri-garter Cowl.

  • A variety of worsted weight yarns from Primrose Yarn Co., Jill Draper Makes Stuff Middlefield, and Orkney Angora St. Magnus DK held together with lace weight mohair/silk

I recommend mixing various bits of worsted or aran weight yarns together for the playful stripes. DK weight would also work fine.

SECTIONS 1, 3, 5, & 7 are striped (garter stitch, knit ‘n slide, brioche, and purl ridge sections).
    SECTION 2, 4, 6, & 8 are solid (stockinette/reverse stockinette stitch sections).
