  • This is a PDF knitting pattern.

This fingering weight shawl is knit sideways in two-color brioche and garter stitch. The woolly sample features two skeins of West Wool Bicycle for main color with four skeins of Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool. The self-striping marled yarn is more prominent on the wrong side, but the ribbing and garter stitch make the shawl completely reversible.

You can customize the size by knitting more pattern repeats or bind off early for a smaller shawl. The rows are easy to memorize, so this project would be a great learning experience to learn two-color brioche.
