This simple garter stitch shawl is composed of three sections that grow with short rows and increases. A DK weight version features 3 neutral colors for a gradient effect. A smaller fingering weight version uses 6 colors that are striped in each short row section. An I-cord border finishes the shawl with a strong pop of color.
This design was originally named Smooth Move. The name was changed to Garter Breeze for Westknits Bestknits Number 1: Shawls

The size is determined by the yarn weight. The small size is knit with fingering weight yarn and the large size is knit with DK weight yarn.
