This earflap hat is a quick knit, especially when working with a beautiful natural yarn like Quince & Co. Osprey. The brim is worked back and forth in garter stitch with shaping to form the flaps. Stitches are then picked up from the brim in a contrast color. The body of the hat works with plump honeycomb cables in the round. Finally, a single crochet edge is added along the brim to finish the stylish and warm hat.
19”/ 48cm circumference. Hat is designed to fit an average 21”/53cm to 24”/ 61cm circumference head.
Hat is shown on a 22.5”/ 57cm head. Different sizes can easily be achieved by altering needle size and/or yarn weight.
