This is a PDF knitting pattern.
Simple garter stitch plus simple shaping makes a simply beautiful and casual shawl! I made this shawl on the beach during a vacation at Lido Itaca in Pineto, Italy. The Artisan linen lace created a fluid fabric that is perfect to wear as a casual wrap in warmer climates. The asymmetrical triangular shape is worked from tip to tip with stripes in the center.
I found shells with holes on the beach that I incorporated into one of the shawl’s edges. Beads or buttons could easily be substituted.

92″ / 234cm wingspan, 33″ / 84cm at widest point. Measurements taken after blocking.

Color A - 460yds / 421m
Color B – 370 yds / 338m
Needles
40” US 4 / 3.5mm circular
The pattern is knit flat back and forth so straight needles could be substituted.
Notions
1 split ring marker, tapestry needle, shells or beads for BO edge (optional)
Gauge
26 sts and 28 rows = 4″ / 10cm in garter stitch
