  Gather a colorful collection of fingering weight yarns and lace weight mohair silk to knit this large brioche wrap. Change colors in each section for a striking collage of two-color brioche and reverse stockinette stitch stripes. The chevron motifs gradually increase in size to form an expansive asymmetrical shape framed with I-cord edges. You can customize the size by knitting the wrap as long as you want. Dive into your stash and have fun knitting this scraptastic brioche beauty!

  Finished Measurements 
  90″ / 229cm long, 46″ / 117cm at widest part, 8″ / 20cm at narrowest part. Measurements taken after blocking.
  

  Yarn
  Fingering weight and lace weight held double
  
  The sample features fingering weight for the MC (main color) foreground brioche sections and the AC (accent color) reverse stockinette stitch stripes. Two strands of the same color of lace weight mohair silk are held together for the CC (contrast color) background brioche sections. You can use fingering weight yarns for all the colors or hold two strands of lace weight mohair silk together for the CC background brioche sections to create a version like the photographed sample.
  

  Yardage
  Approximately 3000yds / 2743m total if you are using 1 strand of fingering weight for all of the sections.
  
  If you are using 2 strands of lace weight mohair silk held together for the CC brioche background stripes like the sample, then 16 balls of West Wool Glowhair (50g each color) is enough for all of the background brioche CC stripes. The
  CC background brioche sections use lace weight mohair silk held double.
  
  The sample weighs approximately 750g total. I recommend weighing your yarn with a kitchen scale as you knit to help determine how many grams of yarn you are using for the brioche sections and reverse stockinette stitch AC stripes. As you increase the shawl, the stripes will gradually require more grams.
  
  MC (main color) = foreground brioche
  CC (contrast color) = background brioche
  AC (accent color) = reverse stockinette stitch stripes + I-cord CO & BO
  
  Gather a colorful collection of yarns, so you have more than enough colors to play with.

  US 4 / 3.5mm circular in 32″ / 80cm length or size needed to obtain gauge
