What’s your dream knitting destination?

I really enjoy traveling to and knitting in Scotland. I see myself in front of a cozy fireplace or sitting in the sun with an amazing view over a Loch and some mountains in the distance.

Do you have any knitting superpowers?

I‘m one of those really fast German knitters! Knitting continental style helps a lot with that. Also I never think "I can’t do this technique." My motto is always: "I haven’t done this before, let’s do it!" I love knitting projects with brioche stitch and I love hand dyed yarn! I have a good sense for colour and I love combining skeins for imaginary new projects, and more often than I‘d like to admit those skeins will be added to my yarn collection.

What is your favorite color?

Purple lover here! As dark as possible or as bright as possible.

How many Westknits projects have you made?

I have made around 40 Westknits projects, most of them are shawls plus some sweaters. I wear them on a daily basis. And there are a few patterns I‘ve knit more than once! Like Exploration Station, Dotted Rays - Speckled Fade, Vertices Unite. I‘m about to finish my 3rd Marled Magic Sweater as it’s so easy to wear! Also, I‘ve knit all but 2 Westknits MKALs (and will make those as well). And there are still so many of his patterns in my knitting queue.

Do you have a favorite Westknits design to wear?

My favorite shawl to wear changes every few weeks, maybe months. At the moment I wear my Fading Waves shawl a lot, plus my Slipstravaganza shawl. My favourite sweater design is Marled Magic Sweater.

Where do you keep your yarn stash?

I try to keep my yarn in boxes but there’s too much to fit in there so there may be some yarn in the living room as well. Thankfully my cats aren’t interested!

Do you work on one project at a time or do you have several WIP's on your needles?

It depends. Sometimes I start and finish a project at once, sometimes I start several new projects simultaneously (and maybe finish half of them at some point). At the moment I have 3 ongoing Westknits projects (and some from other designers as well).
