Choose one color of fingering weight sock yarn to knit these top-down socks. The cuff begins with twisted ribbing with a section of twisted ribbing flowing into the leg and top of the foot. An increase and decrease on each side of the twisted rib section forms diagonal flowing columns as the twisted ribbing spirals toward the foot. Choose a solid yarn for a bold pop of color or try a speckled yarn for some splashy Windschief Socks.
